Our Story
Hi, I’m Kenna and I’m just just a lady with a passion for cooking and recreating cuisines I’ve enjoyed from around the world. My husband, Travis, and I started Kenna’s Kitchen as a way to bring both of our hobbies together (cooking and videography) in an attempt to build our own “thing”. And as a way I could share my love for food and techniques of cooking with others! Cooking should be fun, and its not a one size fits all experience. You should learn to cook to your own tastes and flavor profiles, and make it the perfect dish for YOU!
I’ve been roaming around the kitchen since the day I could walk, sticking my head in spice cabinets to take in the wonderful aromas that it held, moving around pans and sifting through the utensils in the drawer. I recall days of waking my parents up in bed with scrambled eggs, bacon and toast, and cooking frozen dinners but making them ‘better’ by adding more seasonings and altering the cooking instructions. I would love taking over the grill for my dad during the summer months by the pool, and enjoyed helping my mom make authentic Puerto Rican dishes like Pastelillos and Arroz con Pollo. Lets just say I wasn’t the thinnest kid on the block. But that was the past!
Back in present time, my husband Travis, is a full-time videographer and we’ve always had this dream of working together from the comfort of our home.

So, we started house-hunting in 2019 and found this beautiful fixer-upper just north of Atlanta, GA. It needed a complete renovation but we saw the potential it had to fulfill our dreams of working together and raising a family.

Fast-forward through a year of renovating, wedding-planning, a global pandemic, wedding-cancelling, and both of us still working full-time jobs and voilà!
In 2021, Kenna’s Kitchen was born!

With the kitchen reno complete, we could finally relax…wait no, that’s not right. Now we could finally get to work!! On Jan. 1, 2021 we put out our first Kenna’s Kitchen episode and we haven’t looked back.
As of 2022 we’ve created over 150 videos that have gotten over 750,000 views! We’ve also had the incredible opportunity to work with companies like SharkNinja and Char-Griller, creating delicious food and making videos for their social media platforms.
Travis and I are so excited for the future of this show and this ‘thing” we’ve started and are INCREDIBLY grateful for all of you who are reading this and continue to support us. We love sharing our passions with the world and look forward to keeping this show a part of our lives for many, many years to come.
