Ingredients:

  • 1 Lb Fresh Green Beans - Stems Removed

  • 3 Slices of Thick Cut Bacon - Chopped

  • 5-8 Cloves of Garlic

  • Salt & Pepper

Directions:

  1. Add chopped bacon to a wok (or large pan) on medium low heat.

  2. Let fat from bacon render. This could take 5-10 minutes.

  3. Add in green beans and incorporate into the bacon juices.

  4. After about 5 minutes, add in garlic and mix well with the beans.

  5. Turn your heat up to medium-high, and continue stirring the beans until they are close to the doneness you prefer, another 10 minutes. (You can throw a lid on there to speed up the process by steaming, but watch it close, as it can take away the crunch of the green beans if you steam them for too long!)

  6. Right before they are done, add salt and pepper, and taste your beans again. If you like how they taste, then you’re done! If they need some more salt or pepper, add some, mix well and taste again!

  7. Enjoy!
